Valerie
Meet Valerie (Boody) Ireland, founder of Polished! Licensed since 2005, she was inspired to do nails by her mentor and trainer, Maryellen Tanner-Vincent. She was employed at local salons and spas until she had her first child, a boy, in 2013, at which point she took a break from nails to raise her children during the day. She spent that time working in the restaurant industry, for PUBLIC eat+drink in North Adams and District Kitchen & Bar in Pittsfield.
A few years after the birth of her second child, a girl, she decided that it was time to return to her passion and open Polished. She is thrilled to be back in the nail industry! When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her talented and hard-working husband, John, who designed Polished, and their two children. She enjoys baking, and you can always catch her on the dance floor!

When clients come to me after having been absent for 7 years and ask me to do their nails again, it feels so good that they remember me and my talent.”

I love building relationships with my clients so they feel relaxed & at home. I will always take my time with a client, the last thing I want is for someone to feel rushed. When I’m not working I love to spend time with my amazing wife & our beautiful daughter. I can’t wait to meet you!”

Megan has over 7 year experience as nail technician. She specialized in Structured Gel Manicures as well as Dip Powder manicures, as well as natural nail services.

Amanda
Recently relocated to the Berkshires from Framingham, MA. Has been a working nail technician for almost two years. Specializes in Gel X manicures, which are her passion. Also available for natural nail services and gel manicures and pedicures, and of course, nail art.

Amanda is available for nail services Tuesdays through Saturdays.
Cathy
Cathy has been a nail technician for 28 years. Cathy’s schedule has opened up more this summer, during the school year, she devotes herself full time working with special needs children.
